The Demonstration gardens offers community workshops and ongoing classes to help you understand the physical environment we live in. Based in the Demonstration Gardens in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood. All ages and abilities welcome.
Whether you are interested in growing and sharing fresh food, want to know more about changes to our Mediterranean climate, or practising sustainable community planning there are opportunities here to grow your skills and experience.

Gardeners Orientation Find your way around Demonstration Gardens systems, practices and programs. All ages and abilities, 45 minutes, prerequisite for volunteering and all workshops.

KinderGardeners Provide young children fundamental experiences of nature close to home and school: sun, water, soil, wind, other animals through gardening. Sharing and eating from the garden.
